Cheryl Cole can't stomach food following the revelations husband Ashley cheated on her, it has been claimed.
The Girls Aloud beauty - who was left devastated by claims the soccer star had slept with three other women - has seen her weight plummet to a worrying seven stone but is said to be so anxious about the state of her marriage that she can't eat.
A source said: "She's not eating enough - sometimes as little as one meal a day - and it could be as small as a rocket and tomato salads, a small piece of tuna or two hard-boiled eggs.
"She drinks two litres of water a day, plus peppermint tea and coffee, which keeps her filled up, but her stomach has shrunk, so she gets cramps when she does eat. Her friends are so worried."
Friends say while Ashley is concerned about his wife's health, the issue is causing more arguments between the warring couple.
One friend said: "He asks her how much she's eaten, but Cheryl snipes back, saying things like, 'You've already proven how little you care.'
"Their relationship is worse than ever - there's so much blame and anger."
Although Cheryl has reportedly given Ashley another chance, she has not been seen wearing her wedding ring since the stories came out in January.

Kelly Brook is moving back to the UK to find a new man.
The actress was seen moving out of former fiance Billy Zane's Los Angeles home on Wednesday (30.04.08).
Smiling Kelly loaded her belongings into a removal van before heading off for lunch with her mother Sandra.
She is expected to move back to her house in Lenham, Kent, soon and a friend of the former 'Strictly Come Dancing' star revealed she is already looking for a new man.
Actress Natassia Malthe revealed: "She missed being in a relationship. She loves all the cuddles and kisses."
Kelly called off her engagement to Billy last month after four years together.
The 28-year-old beauty had reportedly decided to reassess her life following the death of her father, Kenneth Parsons, in November and decided that she was too young to settle down with the 'Titanic' actor.
Since the break-up, she has been in regular contact with ex-boyfriend Jason Statham, who she dated for seven years before leaving him for Billy.
However, a pal insists they are "just friends" and Jason is seeing someone else.

Mariah Carey has reportedly got married.
Days after the singer sparked engagement rumours when she was pictured wearing a diamond ring, it has now been revealed she tied the knot with rapper Nick Cannon in the Caribbean.
According to reports, the "very impulsive" ceremony took place at Mariah's new home in the Bahamas on Wednesday (30.04.08).
Mariah's nephew added fuel to the speculation with messages posted on the social networking website Facebook.
Updates made by Shawn McDonald to his page this week referred to him going to the Bahamas and acting as a witness.
Family member Linda Cannon confirmed the news, telling US TV network E!: "Nick called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.
"I'm not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him."
Another source confirmed the news, adding that there was no pre-nuptial agreement as "there wasn't time".
It was reported yesterday (01.05.08) that the $2.5 million ring Mariah has been sporting was originally given to Nick's ex, Selita Ebanks.
However, jewellers Jacob and Co. have dismissed the suggestion, saying they designed the 17 carat pink diamond ring after he split from Selita.
Mariah and Nick began dating after he directed the video for her single, 'Bye Bye', in March.
Madonna's Justin party
Madonna has revealed she and Justin Timberlake drank tequila and vodka after her New York show.
The '4 Minutes' singer - who stunned crowds at the free Manhattan concert when she welcomed Justin on stage - revealed she was feeling slightly hung-over after partying on Wednesday night (30.04.08).
She said: "We had to celebrate. We decided we both work too hard and have to have fun. I had a shot of tequila. I may have had a lemon drop, too! We 'tied one on', as they say."
The 49-year-old singer and her 27-year-old collaborator went to New York's exclusive nightclub The Box where they danced and drank with friends including Josh Duhamel, fashion designer Alexander McQueen and R.E.M frontman Michael Stipe.
Madonna also revealed she thinks Justin is the perfect pop star, adding to US radio show host Ryan Seacrest: "He's ambitious but not in an offensive way. He's incredibly responsible and he's good at what he does and I think he has a long future in front of him. He understands the insanity of being a pop star."
Meanwhile, mother-of-three Madonna said despite leaving her "brat" side behind her, she still likes displaying her "cheeky side" in her music.
She told US TV show 'Entertainment Tonight': "I think I'm many things. I think I'm a lady, I think I'm a brat, I think I'm a nerd, I think I'm a pimp, I think I'm a mother, I think I'm a kid. I can't be a brat forever! But that was fun, it was fun being a brat. I've still got my cheeky side."
Lindsay Lohan's Ugly role
Lindsay Lohan is set to make an appearance in 'Ugly Betty'.
The actress is reportedly set to appear in the hit US TV show's season two finale - and bosses are hoping to sign her up for longer.
ABC, who make the show, are keen to persuade Lindsay to film eight episodes for the next series in a bid to boost ratings.
Lindsay is the latest high-profile star to make an appearance in the show, which is about fictional fashion magazine Mode.
Victoria Beckham's appearance as a bridesmaid was a hit last year, while Naomi Campbell has just filmed a cameo.
The supermodel appears in a baseball match that sees the staff of Mode magazine take on rivals Elle - and Naomi revealed she learned to play the sport for the role.
She said: "I was given a crash course in playing softball and at one point hit the ball so hard it actually broke in half!
"I had a fantastic day on set, the cast and crew were lovely. The coach said he had never seen anyone pick up the game so quickly."
The model wore red leggings, wedge trainers and black hot pants for her role, which will be screened in the US on May 22.
Beyonce Knowles back to work
Beyonce Knowles has started work on her new album.
The 'Crazy in Love' singer - who married rapper Jay-Z last month - is back in a New York studio to record new material with production duo Chris 'Tricky' Stewart and Kuk Harrell.
Tricky said: "She's a professional. She loves what she does and works her butt off. Right now she's basically doing three to four songs a day and that's unheard of."
Tricky - who has previously worked with Rihanna and Mariah Carey - also revealed Beyonce could team up with Jay-Z.
He added to People magazine: "It's always a possibility. They worked together before, so it may be just a matter of getting the right record."
Meanwhile, it has been claimed Beyonce is pregnant.
The star - who has been plagued by pregnancy rumours ever since she wed Jay-Z in a secret ceremony on April 4 - is said to be expecting her first child and was keen to tie the knot before she had the baby.
A source said: "Beyonce is 100 per cent pregnant, which is why the couple rushed their wedding.
"The wedding was thrown together so quickly because of Beyonce's strong Christian beliefs."
Britney Spears' $61m mistake
Britney Spears' recent troubles have reportedly cost her nearly $61 million.
The 'Toxic' singer's father Jamie, who is also co-conservator of her estate, made the shocking discovery after examining Britney's accounts.
A source close to the Spears family said: "It's staggering how much money has been used up since February 2007."
Britney - who lost custody of her two children to ex-husband Kevin Federline before being admitted to a psychiatric ward earlier this year - has been forced to spend huge amounts on legal bills and psychiatric care.
Independent accountant Robert Bianchi - who is not involved in the Spears care - also estimates the 26-year-old singer lost out
on a staggering $50 million by not touring to promote her most recent record 'Blackout', according to In Touch Weekly magazine.
However, thanks to her father's stringent controls of her purse strings, Britney is said to now be back on track.
The source added: "It's been quite a challenge getting things under control. But now she's spending about a fifth of what she used to."
Meanwhile, Britney is reportedly planning to spend Mother's Day with her two sons Sean Preston, two, and 20-month-old Jayden James.
Kevin is said to be considering putting their custody battle aside so she can spend the special day (11.05.08) with the boys.
A source close to Kevin said: "He hasn't said yes yet, but he is considering it."

Miley Cyrus Apologizes for Revealing "Vanity Fair" Photos
Disney superstar Miley Cyrus (aka "Hannah Montana") was recently photographed by Annie Leibovitz for a series of photos to appear in Vanity Fair magazine. In the yet-to-be-published photos Miley appears to be topless and wrapped in a sheet. The photos haven't yet been printed, they'll make their debut in the June edition of the magazine, but they've already hit the web.
Since the existence of these revealing photos and the photo shoot have come to light, the Disney actress/singer has come under fire.
At only 15-years-old, Miley has already been the subject of scrutiny in connection with risque photos. Just one week ago, several photos of her draped across her boyfriend's lap and showing off her green bra were released online. At least three other sets of not-so-innocent photos have been leaked online over the past year.
Miley issued a statement on ET today about the Vanity Fair shoot:
"For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."
Disney also issued a statement supporting Miley in playing the "victim" card:
"Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."
Considering that Miley is such a huge star and only 15, it doesn't seem likely that she would be allowed to participate in a shoot like this if her managers, handlers, and parents didn't approve it.
Vanity Fair defended themselves, telling the New York Times:
"Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."
It seems to me that the only concern anyone in the Miley camp really has now is how this negative publicity will affect their sales, Miley's image, and ultimately their pocketbooks.

Megan Fox: Megan Fox Named Sexiest By FHM
Transformers actress Megan Fox stands above all in the reader poll of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2008. Jessica Alba dropped to No. 3 behind Jessica Biel.
Fox, 21, managed to beat out the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Elisha Cuthbert who rounded out the top five.
FHM Online U.S. Editor JR Futrell stated "Fox is the deserving winner of this year's FHM title. She's young, she's hot, she's a rising star and her sex appeal has definitely transformed this year's list."
Britney Spears barely managed to break into the top 100.

Plastic surgery patients want Angelina's lips
Eyes like Katie Holmes, the sultry pout of Angelina Jolie and a body like Jessica Biel make the perfect woman -- at least in the opinion of plastic surgery patients in Beverly Hills.
The specific attributes of the three actresses topped the list of the annual "Hollywood's Hottest Looks" survey released on Thursday by The Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
According to doctors Richard Fleming and Toby Mayer their clients ask for plastic surgery not to look exactly like a specific star, but to replicate a distinct feature of various celebrity faces and bodies.
The most requested look-alike female nose was that of "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl, while British actress Keira Knightley was tops in the cheek department, and Paris Hilton haD the most sought-after skin.
The features most desired by men were Leonardo DiCaprio's nose, soccer player David Beckham's body and the blue eyes of the latest James Bond actor, Daniel Craig. George Clooney's cheeks and Matt Damon's lips also got top billing.
"Our patients continue to turn to Hollywood to raise their standard of beauty," said Fleming. "Our patients want to look rested, energetic and, most of all, youthful like the celebrities they see in glossy magazines."

At the tender age of eight Britney was already an accomplished young gymnast and regularly competed in national competitions as well as performing in local musicals and revues. This was also when she first auditioned to be in the world famous Disney Mickey Mouse Club and headed on the road to international stardom.
However the seed for the problems she is now facing could have already been planted before the fame even began. There have been numerous rumours about Britney's unstable upbringing with reports of an alcoholic drug addict father and a Grandma who committed suicide.

TV presenter and mental health worker Trisha Goddard went through a nervous breakdown herself and she believes upbringing has a lot to do with Britney's problems: “Bad stuff happens to a lot of people but it depends on your background and how you're brought as to how you deal with it,” she says.
In fact Trisha thinks Brit's problems may have been predictable before she was even born: “We've heard her father had a drug addiction – so there may well be a mental health weakness in the family- it often runs in families the way breast cancer runs in families and heart disease runs in families.”
“Also you don't know what she heard as a kid. You don't know what messages she picked up. Were there rows between her parents going on around her? We don't know what she learnt about what being a good woman is and all of that,” adds Trisha. “You can put two people in exactly the same situation- one person could have a real solid background and see the common sense and get through- look at someone like Joss Stone- and the other reacts differently.”
By age 16 Britney was familiar with the showbiz world and was no stranger to US TV screens so when she was signed by Jive Records the young starlet was already used to be surrounded by the rich and famous. Her debut single 'Hit Me (Baby) One More Time' became a huge international hit and soon Britney's Disney cuteness was replaced with sexed up school girl naughtiness.
“Britney was so novel, and it was such a huge time for teen pop that I think we overlooked a lot of signals that something eventually was going to go wrong,” said Shirley Halperin, music journalist, Entertainment Weekly in the True Hollywood Story: Britney Spears- Fall From Grace documentary on E! Entertainment next month.
And the experts agree the trouble started early on: “It's hard to imagine what it's like to constantly have to monitor what you say, how you behave, what you wear. It forces you to think about creating a false image of who you are,” says Dr David Levy, Psychologist at Pepperdine University.
Like any teenage girl Britney wanted to rebel against everything but for someone with so much money and power this meant more than just staying out all night or dating a boy her dad didn't approve of. Teenage rebellion superstar style is a lot more destructive.
“As she grew older, I think she began to rebel from wanting to be the nice girl,” says psychotherapist Stacey Kaiser , “She wanted to be who she really was, and since she didn't know who she really was because she was so young and so in the limelight, everything sort of got distorted for her.”
“Britney spent a lot of her life trying to conform to what she thought she should be. And what often happens when people try to conform is, they go the whole other way. 'I'm going to surprise everybody. I don't care what you think. This is my man. And not only am I going to be with him, but I'm going to make you take him if I have to force feed him on you.”
Being so young and having access to so much fame and money may seem like a teenage girl's dream but in reality it makes growing up a lot harder and trusting people can be even more difficult.
“Like Britney I had those skewed views of what success was and what being a women was and all of those things.” says Trisha Goddard. “Now the total difference between myself and Britney is that I only came into the public eye at 28 so I still had a good idea of how to make friends, who to trust and all that.”
“I already had firm friends in place who absolutely weren't with me for the money because they knew me when I didn't have any. They could say 'don't do that' or 'do that'. Britney hasn't got that safety net.”
Another big issue for teenage girls is body image and this becomes and even bigger issue when your body is splashed on posters and in magazines all over the world. Britney's yo-yo dieting a varying weight shows the problems with image she has. Trisha thinks airbrushing has a lot top answer for.
“When you live in an unreal world you start to question whether you are real too because you sense of reality is taken away. You also get used to being airbrushed to hell,” she says
“When your used to being airbrushed you think that's what you really look like. Now Britney is seeing pictures of herself looking rough because the whole 'Britney Descends into Hell' story would not work if they airbrushed all her spots out and her hair extension joins. If they took all that out and slimmed her down as they have in the past then those headlines wouldn't work. Now she's seeing very real, very unflattering pictures of herself and that's not going to be nice.”
During the height of her career Britney launched album after album, generating record-breaking sales with each release. But soon the cracks started to show: a much-publicized break-up with long-time boyfriend Justin Timberlake, a quickie Las Vegas marriage to (and annulment from) childhood pal Jason Alexander, and finally a whirlwind romance with backup dancer Kevin Federline which produced two sons, a divorce and one of the ugliest custody battles in years Britney's way of coping was to escape into a world of non-stop partying. And 2007 became a year of infamy. First, she spent just 24 hours in rehab then, in a move that shocked the world, she shaved off her trademark golden locks. Insiders feared the one-time teen idol was spinning out of control while the paparazzi loved it! “Britney had all the power and the minute she showed that crack in her image it was almost like people were just like yeah, let's take her down,” says Tamara Conniff, Editor in Chief of Billboard.
With so many people out to catch Britney up to the next crazy stunt her life became a media circus and certain people would do anything to get close to her and stab her in the back just to make a quick buck. The biggest example of this is her latest love interest brummie photographer Adnan Ghalib.
“He needs shooting,” says Trisha, “I don't advocate violence but he deserves it. When you fall down in the desert the first thing to come are the vultures circling around you. The paparazzi that are befriending Britney are vultures.”
While the world can see that our favourite teeny bopper has grown into a desperate young woman heading for a breakdown Britney seems to be living in denial and still refuses to accept any help.
“You may know your unhappy and feeling in pain but when everyone around is telling you it's OK and your single is going up and up the charts then why would you think anything was wrong,”says Trisha.
Britney so obviously needs someone to rescue her from the drama that has become her life but pointing the finger of responsibility isn't easy. So many people in Britney's life have let her down it's easy to see why she find it hard to trust someone enough to let them help her. “Maybe some people in her management are telling her she needs help but these are probably the same people who pushed her to work hard when she wanted to stay at home or the people who made her lose weight when she didn't want to so why would she trust these people, “ thinks Trisha.
Britney's mother is also a doubtful option when it comes to helping out her daughter. With news that the younger Spears, Jamie Lynn, is to become a teenage mum Trisha thinks we would be naive to believe that mum always knows best:
“Where has her mother been before now? And we've seen Jamie get pregnant now...so Hello...maybe mum isn't the best person to help,” she says.
Well who does that leave? Surprisingly a rank outsider seems to be Brit's best hope for a shoulder to cry on. Kevin Federline was public enemy number 1 when he first started dating her but this week he's been voted top Dad by a US magazine.
“I don't know what sort of guy he is but I think he might be able to get through to her,” says Trisha. “Taking someone's children away and never letting them see them again is a wonderful way to push someone's self destruct button. So maybe if they can agree to some conditions by which she can see them he might be able to calm things down.”
We could debate for hours about what made Britney go flying off the rails and who's responsibility it is to bring her back on track but there's one important group of people everyone seems to be neglecting....and that's each and every one of us! When she was at the top of her game, entertaining us with her unique brand of cheesy pop and enviable dance moves she was public property and everyone loved their pop princess. Now when she needs support more than ever some people are far too keen to turn their back on her and watch her fall.
Reading the tabloid stories of Britney's bizarre antics may be entertaining and watching her flashing her bits and shaving her head might make you giggle but in reality we are witnessing the very sad and distressing breakdown of a young woman. We have to wonder would we all find it so funny if this was our little sister, cousin or best friend who's life was falling about around them?
She may be a celebrity, musician, icon, pin up, whatever you want to call her but when it comes down to it she's a 27 year old young woman, losing her children and her career, going through a very scary mental illness and just crying out for help- is that really entertainment?
Tara Reid's Paris rant
Tara Reid believes Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan deserved to be sent to prison.
The 'American Pie' star, who used to be close friends with the socialite and the actress, is tired of her partying reputation and was glad Paris and Lindsay were punished for driving under the influence (DUI).
She said: "What have I ever really done? Dance on a table? Who doesn't drink with their friends and have a good time? I don't understand why people punish others for being happy. "When Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton got their DUIs, they got punished. They deserved it. But my punishment, I don't feel like it fits the crime. Enough."
Tara insists everything she does is blown out of proportion and she is simply enjoying herself like most young women.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine: "If I have a drink in my hand, it doesn't make me an alcoholic. If I want a glass of wine, I want a glass of wine. I shouldn't be afraid of it because of what the media might say. Anything you do, you're screwed. "That's the lesson I've learned."

Eva Mendes hated being treated as a sexual object at the beginning of her career.
The Hollywood beauty - who appears in an explicit sex scene in the opening minutes of her new movie 'We Own the Night' - made her TV debut as a bikini babe in the video for Aerosmith's 'Hole In My Soul' but hated flaunting her body for money.
The 33-year-old star said: "In 'Hole In My Soul' I played a character created in a lab. I was wearing an American flag bikini. Pure class, I was so embarrassed.
"I walked off a rap video once. My first year in the business, I went out for any roles that would take me. But after a couple of videos, I told my agent, 'No more gyrating in bikinis.' On the next video, they brought in all these tiny sequinned shorts and bras, and I said 'I'm not wearing those.' They go, 'You said you wouldn't wear a bikini.' I needed money, so I was looking at this sequinned thing, going 'What do I do?' Then I saw a sign that said something like, 'Holding area for cash money hos.' I was like, 'I'm out', and I took off in my car. I'm proud of that moment."
Although Eva used to have reservations about showing off her body she is more comfortable with being a sex symbol now.
The Cubin star - who appears semi-naked in cop movie 'Training Day' - recently confessed she loves gardening in the nude.
She said: "I love being naked. I do everything in the nude, even the gardening!
"We're Cuban, and it's a hot island. Why not go nude?"
Angelina Jolie's twin pregnancy
Angelina Jolie is pregnant with twins, it has been claimed.
The 'Beowulf' actress and her lover Brad Pitt discovered the happy news earlier this week and hastily cancelled their planned trip to Europe.
A source told America's Star magazine: "Brad and Angelina are absolutely ecstatic. But I still think there will be more adoptions to come."
Angelina, 32, gave birth to the couple's daughter Shiloh in May 2006 in Namibia.
The star also has three adopted children with Brad - six-year-old Cambodian son Maddox, four-year-old Vietnamese son Pax and three-year-old Ethiopian daughter Zahara.
Pregnancy rumours first surfaced earlier this month when Angelina refused alcohol at the Critics' Choice Awards and was said to be planning her work schedule around having another baby.
The 'A Mighty Heart' star has previously spoken of her desire to expand her brood, saying: "Brad and I would like to have more kids.
"I've always wanted a big family. And Brad's the same. We are enjoying the children together. They are such big personalities, and it's so exciting to watch them grow up."
Angelina's representative has refused to confirm the pregnancy reports, saying: "I am not commenting on unsubstantiated rumours."
