Beyoncé Knowles' fragrant giveaway

Beyoncé Knowles will give away her latest fragrance for free at her New York show. The 'Crazy In Love' singer is launching Diamonds - a new perfume with Emporio Armani - at her Madison Square Garden concert on Saturday (04.08.07). Twenty "brand ambassadors" will be at the show to give out free samples of Diamonds to the audience.
The 25-year-old - who has already leant her name several fragrances produced by designer Tommy Hilfiger - recently fell down a flight of stairs during a concert.
Beyoncé was performing her hit 'Ring the Alarm' in Orlando on July 24 when she lost her balance and crashed down a dozen steps, dropping her microphone which slid across the stage.
But Beyoncé - who was wearing a trench coat and high heels for the song - quickly grabbed the microphone, sprang to her feet and began singing again, barely missing a beat.
When she had finished singing, the star joked: "Don't put it on YouTube!"
Beyoncé previously claimed dancing in heels is "easy", but admits she does find it difficult to dance and sing at the same time.
She said: "The easiest part is dancing in the heels. I don't even think about it anymore, it's just second nature.
"But it is difficult to dance and sing at the same time. I have to make sure I'm in shape and I'm hydrated."

The former Victoria's Secret model is planning to move to New York, and will record her TV talk show 'The Tyra Banks Show' there.

Dina Lohan Sued For Fraud.

LINDSAY LOHAN's mother DINA is set for another court date after being accused of fraud for failing to pay back a $400,000 (£200,000) loan to a friend. Las Vegas businessman Antonio Almeida filed a lawsuit in May 2006, claiming Dina failed to return the money he lent her four years ago to kick-start daughter Lindsay's music career.
Almeida's lawyer, A. Raymond Hamrick, says some of the money was used to record songs with Gloria Estefan's husband, Emilio Estefan.
But the Mean Girls actress parted company with Estefan after securing a deal with Casablanca Records, which released her album, A Little More Personal (Raw).
Hamrick tells New York Gossip column, PageSix, "My clients were out their money."
But Dina's lawyer, David Chesnoff says, "You mean the funds he claimed he lent her?"
Dina is currently fighting estranged husband Michael in court for custody of their two youngest children Aliana and Cody (Dakota).

Great mom Britney Spears

Britney Spears loves her "babies to death", according the troubled singer's cousin. Alli Sims has defended the pop star's heavily criticised parenting skills, saying she is a great mom to Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months, who she shares custody of with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
She told People magazine: "She's a wonderful mom and she is so hands-on. Britney loves those babies to death. And they adore her."
The 26-year-old - who until recently worked as Britney's assistant - is now following in her famous cousin's footsteps and launching a pop career of her own.
Alli has posted her first song - a cover of 'On My Own' from the stage musical Les Misérables - on her personal website, and plans to release her first material by January.
She said: "I hope everything falls into place, and maybe by January I will have a lot of things under my belt and get to release something. I just want to do what I love. Music is my passion."
Describing her sound, she said: "I don't dance, I'm not pop. I have a more bluesy voice, more like Norah Jones. I don't want to appeal to just my age group and younger."
The fledgling singer insists Britney is fully behind her, despite rumours the 25-year-old star was unhappy with her cousin's decision to follow in her musical footsteps.
She said: "She heard my songs on the laptop and was like, 'I love this song! This is you singing?' She has always been supportive."
Brad Pitt close to splitting?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are on the verge of splitting up, it has been reported.
The couple allegedly got into a heated political debate about their preferred Democrat presidential candidates - Brad supports Barack Obama, while Angelina is backing his rival John Edwards - while on holiday in France which culminated in Angelina hurling a glass of wine over her lover.
A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "They got into a huge fight about politics. Angie was cursing at him and ended up throwing a glass of wine in his face.
"Brad was left standing there with wine dripping down his face onto his clothes before storming off to wash up and change. He says he was absolutely disgusted by Angelina's behaviour."
Brad, 43, and 32-year-old Angelina - who decided to go to France in an attempt to save their rocky relationship - are said to have spent the rest of their trip at "each other's throats".
Things are said to be so bad they have even talked about who will get custody of their children - five-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax, two-year-old Zahara and one-year-old Shiloh - if they split.
An insider told In Touch Weekly magazine: "They aren't making each other happy. But they want to put on a show of togetherness for the children. Their romance has fallen apart.
"They've turned into two people staying together for the sake of their kids."
It is believed Angelina would get custody of the kids if they decide to end their relationship.

Gwen Stefani angers Muslims
Gwen Stefani could be forced to cancel her Malaysian show after a Muslim group branded her "indecent" and "obscene".The singer, who is currently on the road with her 'Sweet Escape' tour, is due to perform in Kuala Lumpur next month but the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students want the concert scrapped because Gwen's image offends Islamic beliefs.
Mohamad Hilmi Ramli said: "Her video clips promoting the event are too obscene. We want the organisers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene."
Ramli also slammed Malaysian mobile phone company Maxis Communications for promoting Gwen's concert and exposing young Malaysians to "moral decay".
He fumed: "Maxis has been staging a series of foreign acts to make a profit and to expose our young generation to things such as moral decay."
Gwen's Kuala Lumpur show is due to take place at the Stadium Putra on August 21.
The 'Hollaback Girl' singer will also perform in Australia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China and Hawaii before taking her tour to Europe.
Paris Hilton's happy ending
Paris Hilton is "happy" 'The Simple Life' has been axed. The hotel heiress, who starred in the reality TV show with close friend Nicole Richie, insists she is glad TV network E! has decided not to commission another series.
Paris told 'Entertainment Tonight': "It's been a great five years and we had so much fun. I'm happy to end it at that."
Insiders claim E! bosses chose not to record any more episodes of the show because Paris and Nicole's private lives had been receiving too much attention.
Paris recently spent 23 days in jail for driving with a suspended licence, while Nicole - who is rumoured to be pregnant - was sentenced to four days in prison after pleading guilty to DUI (driving under the influence) last week.
A source said: "We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show.
"Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn't care about seeing her camping with kids. It was a case of overexposure."
Paris also revealed she is heartbroken about selling her four-bedroom Hollywood Hills home.
But the socialite says she feels she has to because the property - on the market for $4.25 million - has become too famous.
She explained: "I feel like a lot of people know where I live so it's time to move. I'm really upset because I love my house so much. I put so much work into it. It's totally me! But I'm looking for something else right now."
Nicole Richie Confirms Pregnancy
Nicole Richie has confirmed that she is 4 months pregnant. The Simple Life star confirmed the rumours in an interview with TV Presenter Diane Sawyer last night. The father of the baby is Nicole's boyfriend Joel Madden from rock band Good Charlotte.
"We are. I'm almost four months," said Nicole when asked about the rumours.
During the interiew, which will be aired tonight in the US, Nicole also commented on her recent conviction for driving under the influence.
She said: " "I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologise to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would."
"Unfortunately I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult"
Britney Spears divorced
Britney Spears has finalised her divorce from Kevin Federline. The official papers were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (30.07.07) and signed in the afternoon by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon.Britney's lawyer Laura Wasser said after the hearing: "They are divorced. Everything is finalised.
"I think she's OK with the terms. She would like to be with the kids more. She said that. She thinks Kevin would like that too.
"I think both of them would prefer to have more custody, and that can be worked out down the line."
When questioned about the alimony payment agreement, Wasser said it will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue.
Gordon ruled yesterday that Britney, 25, and Kevin, 28, will continue to share equal custody of their sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James, pending a custody hearing on August 14.
But a source close to Kevin has revealed he may file for full custody within the next few days.
The insider said: "His attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has been watching and monitoring Britney's behaviour very closely.
"There is a clause in the divorce so either parent can seek full custody and it is very possible that you will see Kaplan seeking full custody for Kevin as early as this week.
"Kevin is extremely concerned with Britney's erratic behaviour and he needs to make sure his kids are protected.
"Britney has not met the benchmarks for sobriety that were outlined in the agreement."
Wasser won the right for the current custody agreement - which divides custody equally - to be sealed to protect the best interests of the children.
Wasser implied if the document - detailing the specific timeshare schedule and transportation specifications - was made public the children could be at risk of being kidnapped.
She wrote: "Such information greatly increases the chances that the actions of the media could threaten the safety of the minor children by, for example, causing a traffic accident or by exposing the minor children to criminals who might target the minor children for financial gain."
Britney filed for divorce on November 7, 2006, after just two years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences".
The 'Toxic' singer asked for both legal and physical custody of the children, with reasonable visitation rights for Kevin.
He responded by filing for divorce and also seeking both legal and physical custody of the children.
Jessica Biel's male attention
Jessica Biel loved being the only female star in her new movie because she got all the male attention. The sexy actress, who is dating pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake, was glad there was no female competition while filming 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry' with Adam Sandler and Kevin James.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "You definitely get a lot of attention. All of the guys became my 'older brothers' - they picked on me every day! When you're the only girl there's no competition - you're just one of the guys."
Jessica, 25, also revealed she has to think twice before picking her nose in public, because she never knows whether there is a photographer waiting to take her picture.
The beauty said: "It just feels so violating. To walk out of my house in the morning with the dogs, someone's hiding behind the bush with a camera and someone's hiding over there with a camera and there's someone with a video camera and I'm thinking, is my underwear sticking out of my pants? If I reach back there will it look like I'm picking my wedgie? Don't pick your nose - just walk! It's like being stalked - but then fame is something you started yourself."
Simple Life dies
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's reality TV show 'The Simple Life' has reportedly been axed. The socialites will not film any more episodes of the show - which sees them try their hand at a series of low paid jobs - after TV network E! decided not to commission another series.
A network insider said: "We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show.
"Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn't care about seeing her camping with kids. It was a case of overexposure."
Show insiders also claim Nicole infuriated TV bosses with her diva-like behaviour in the recent fifth series.
The source said: "Paris carried the show. She was the one willing to do anything. Nicole was the diva."
Nicole, 25, was sentenced to four days in jail after pleading guilty to driving under the influence - her second DUI conviction since 2003 - on Friday (27.07.07).
Her sentence follows Paris' 23-day prison stint in June for driving with a suspended licence.
'The Simple Life' could be resuscitated if another TV network decides to pick up the rights and screen a new series.
Pete Doherty's Kate plea
Pete Doherty says he is drug free and desperate to win back "nasty" Kate Moss.
The troubled Babyshambles rocker, who recently had another anti-heroin implant fitted to help him beat drugs, says Kate is a jealous "nasty old rag" but he still loves her.
Pete, who was dumped by the supermodel after he reportedly cheated on her, told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Kate has broken my heart. There's been this lockdown and I can't get hold of her. This is the only way I can get through. I'm here to tell her that I love her. Kate is both jealous and suspicious. She is a nasty old rag and she kicked me in the head. But I love her because of the things she does in bed and because she is a multi-millionaire!
"When she finished our relationship in a blazing row I decided never ever am I going to go through that again."
The 28-year-old musician also bizarrely revealed that despite declaring his love for the 33-year-old model - he has proposed to another woman and plans to marry her in November.
Pete admitted: "I made rather a rash gesture. It was more in a fit of anger. I asked this girl Christine to marry me. She has gone back to Paris and I don't know what to do."
Pete insists he was never unfaithful to Kate, despite reports he spent the night with South African model Lindi Hingston in June.
He said: "I love Kate with all my heart. I wasn't going to go after some average model, let alone some girl I've known as a friend for years. Being accused all the time of going with other women takes its toll."
Although Kate has reportedly changed all her phone numbers to stop her ex-lover contacting her, Pete claims she still phones him.
He said: "She rang last night and left a drunken answer phone message, singing 'Moon River'. She has ripped my heart out. I don't know what I'm doing."
Pete, who was recently ordered by a judge to enter rehab or face a prison sentence, completed a tough detox programme and is planning to stay clean.
The musician said: "I was under very heavy sedation. All my receptors are blocked which means I can't enjoy Class A drugs. It's been dark, but I've come out of rehab a new man.
"I'm feeling good and I'm determined I can beat drugs. If I had Kate back then life wouldn't be so bad would it?
"Her dream was for us to be a normal, happy couple. I guess my drug problem ruined all that. You don't know what you have lost until it is gone."
