Jennifer Lopez's husband payout

Jennifer Lopez has been awarded over $545,000 in her legal battle with her first husband. Ojani Noa was ordered to pay his ex-wife the huge sum following his plans to release his tell-all book 'The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a Serial Thriller'. J.Lo, 38, filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Noa in 2006 accusing him of breaking a confidentiality agreement he signed back in 2005, after it was reported the former waiter was planning to bring out the unpublished tome.

Noa, 33, had agreed not to disparage J.Lo or attempt to profit from disclosing details about her private life.

According to J.Lo's legal team, Noa not only details his sex life with the singer in the book, but also alleges she had "multiple duplicitous sexual affairs" during their brief one-year marriage. He also claims she cheated on former lover P. Diddy with her current husband Marc Anthony.

Arbitrator Richard Chernick actually made his ruling in April, but it was only discovered when J.Lo's legal team filed papers on August 6 asking for a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to confirm the decision in a hearing scheduled for September 5.

The seven-page decision stated: "The book proposal clearly contains material that violates the terms referenced in the settlement agreement."

The award consists of $200,000 in compensatory damages for Noa violating the terms of the 2005 settlement, close to $300,000 in attorneys' fees and almost $48,000 in arbitration costs.

J. Lo's lawyer, Paul Sorrell, said: "I think she'd just like to see this be over."

Noa and J.Lo married in 1997 and were divorced a year later.
